The Jamba General Manager role at Fresh Dining Concepts is a critical leadership position responsible for managing the overall performance of an individual store. This hands-on position requires a dynamic leader who can effectively oversee daily operations, including food preparation, guest interactions, sales growth, and financial results. The Jamba General Manager is tasked with building and leading a motivated team consisting of Team Members, Shift Managers, and Assistant General Managers. They ensure that the store consistently meets or exceeds brand standards and operational efficiency targets. In this role, the General Manager will be expected to drive sales performance while managing inventory, ordering, and controlling food and labor costs. Job Requirements

  • Minimum age 18 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful management experience
  • Direct P&L responsibility
  • Current ServSafe certification required or able to obtain one within 30 days of hire
  • Experience coaching and developing teams in a retail or restaurant environment
  • Experience supervising hourly and management-level staff
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to bend squat and perform repetitive hand/arm movements
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility to work extended or irregular hours within applicable laws
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English for safety and operational purposes
  • Ability to evaluate products by taste appearance and smell
  • Support training and development of new hires
  • Availability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18 years
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of successful management experience
  • Direct P&L responsibility
  • Current ServSafe certification required or able to obtain one within 30 days of hire
  • Experience coaching and developing teams in a retail or restaurant environment
  • Experience supervising hourly and management-level staff
  • Hospitality retail or restaurant experience preferred
  • Background in nutrition is a plus
  • Strong leadership interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions and influence others effectively
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office email and basic computer applications
  • Availability to work nights weekends and holidays
  • Reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Lead and model exceptional guest service
  • Oversee daily store operations including food preparation and guest interactions
