Job Description

MAC Sales and Leasing is a leading Rent-To-Own (RTO) company specializing in renting furniture, appliances, electronics, and computers across the United States. With a growing footprint and plans for rapid expansion, MAC Sales and Leasing is committed to providing customers with convenient access to everyday essentials through flexible rent-to-own solutions. The company prides itself on excellent customer service, quality products, and fostering a supportive work environment for its associates. As part of its vision, MAC Sales and Leasing is opening new store locations nationwide, creating numerous career opportunities for motivated individuals eager to join a dynamic and expanding company. The employment type for this role is full-time, in-person, offering a competitive hourly wage ranging from $17.00 to $23.00. Additionally, employees benefit from paid time off, closed Sundays (providing valuable rest and personal time), employee discounts, and health and retirement benefits that vary by location.

The available position is for a General Manager In Training (GMIT), a vital role designed to develop future store leaders. Unlike a traditional Manager In Training role, the GMIT is expected to rapidly acquire the skills necessary to independently manage a store location within 120 to 180 days. This high-paced leadership development track involves comprehensive training and cross-training across all facets of store operations. The GMIT will be entrusted with responsibilities including customer acquisition and retention, financial oversight, inventory management, staff supervision, and adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. This position requires a hands-on, proactive leader who can motivate teams, implement marketing strategies, meet sales targets, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for both customers and employees. The role is available only at the specified physical location and candidates must be at least 21 years old to apply, meeting insurance and legal requirements. This unique opportunity positions the candidate for rapid advancement within an innovative company dedicated to excellence in rent-to-own retail. MAC Sales and Leasing offers a supportive environment where career growth and continuous learning are prioritized, making the General Manager In Training role an excellent career stepping stone for ambitious professionals seeking long-term success in retail management.
