The company specializes in providing a unique and immersive experience through bowling, amusements, water parks, and family entertainment centers. As a pioneer in the entertainment industry, Lucky Strike Entertainment is also the parent company of the Professional Bowlers Association, the premier bowling league with millions of fans globally. This establishes the company not only as an entertainment hub but also as a significant media presence. Their commitment to delivering unforgettable experiences is supported by a strong corporate culture focused on innovation, team collaboration, and customer satisfaction.
As a General Manager in Training at Lucky Strike Entertainment, you will be at the heart of maintaining and elevating the guest experience. This role is dynamic and active, requiring you to be on your feet, managing various aspects of center operations from entertainment and food & beverage services to property maintenance and equipment oversight. Unlike typical desk jobs, this position offers a high-energy environment where problem-solving and real-time decision-making are essential. You will lead and coordinate multiple team members, ensuring that the operational standards of the center are met and exceeded.
In this leadership development role, you will help design and monitor financial and operational plans including budgets, labor cost controls, and expense management to drive the center’s profitability. You will be responsible for floor management encompassing scheduling, planning, organizing, and fostering effective communication within your team. Training and supervising staff to uphold guest service excellence and company standards is a key part of this role, with direct oversight of Assistant General Managers, Facility Managers, Kitchen Managers, and Event Managers. Regular performance reviews, profit and loss statement analyses, and strategic action plan adjustments will ensure continuous improvement of the center’s operations.
The role also calls for strong people leadership skills to maintain high morale, resolve HR issues promptly, and enforce loss prevention measures. Exceptional guest service is prioritized, making sure that customer satisfaction remains at the forefront of daily operations. Flexibility is critical, as the job requires working varying shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours to meet the needs of the center. This position offers an attractive salary range of $80,000 to $85,000 per year, coupled with performance-based incentives and a competitive benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage, a 401K program, employee stock options, paid time off, and career advancement opportunities.
By joining Lucky Strike Entertainment as a General Manager in Training, you become part of a world-class team driven by passion for entertainment and exceptional service. The role is perfect for individuals with a strong management background who thrive in fast-paced environments and have a dedication to fostering team development and delivering stellar guest experiences. This is not just a job; it’s a career path filled with growth, learning, and the chance to contribute to one of the entertainment industry’s most innovative companies.
