The role of General Manager at our franchise is pivotal to our ongoing success. With a salary range of $50,000 to $60,000 per year depending on experience, this position offers a comprehensive managerial experience in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be the driving force behind all operational aspects of one of our restaurants — from ensuring world-class customer service to managing a vibrant team, overseeing inventory and supplies, and maintaining profitability and cleanliness. This role involves managing assistant managers and a team of 3 to 15 employees, taking responsibility for hiring, training, performance evaluations, and employee development. You will also handle daily operations such as food preparation forecasting, supervising food service, and ensuring compliance with company standards through regular audits and system checks.

Additionally, our General Managers are expected to engage directly with customers and team members, assisting during busy periods to ensure efficiency and maintaining a positive atmosphere. You will be entrusted with managing the cash drawer, deposits, and inventory controls, which are crucial to our financial integrity. Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Reliable transportation
Willingness to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and days off as business dictates
Physical stamina to work 50-80 hours per week
Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk, listen, and have close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception
Occasionally able to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Capability to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodations as needed

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in a management role within the food service or fast food industry
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage and develop teams effectively
Competence in inventory and cash handling procedures
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and understanding basic fractions
Ability to complete administrative paperwork accurately
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

Manages a staff of assistant managers and approximately 3-15 employees depending on location
Assigns, oversees, and evaluates work for compliance
Manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline, and termination of employees
Provides on the job training and coaching for new employees
Delegates and is responsible for the ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies
Assists in the supervision, preparation, sales, and service of food
Forecasts food items by estimating consumption per shift
Supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty
Assists team members during rush periods to ensure restaurant efficiency
Assists team members by greeting customers, taking orders, using the cash register, assembling orders, and checking for completeness and accuracy
Ensures that every customer receives world-class customer service
Completes daily food preparations including meat and vegetable slicing, portioning, and rotating products
Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness
Completes daily, weekly, and periodic paperwork with accuracy
Controls inventory by using weekly inventory systems and maintains regular inventory ordering schedules
Conducts weekly manager meetings
Audits systems and procedures as well as end of shift paperwork
Completes preventative maintenance and upkeep on store equipment and supplies
Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers during the shift
Manages deposits and changes orders per Deposit Operating Procedure
Performs other related duties as required
