Strategically located adjacent to the San Diego Convention Center and within walking distance of Petco Park, the hotel caters to a diverse mix of convention-goers, business travelers, and leisure guests. Key responsibilities include directing operational departments to align with brand standards and operational goals, steering commercial financial strategies to maximize profitability, and fostering strong relations with both ownership groups and Hilton corporate leadership. This leader will also champion a service-driven organizational culture, focusing on employee engagement, mentorship, and professional development to create a motivated and accountable team. Experience in unionized hotel environments, large convention and conference operations, as well as a track record of successful revenue optimization, are essential to thrive in this role. The General Manager will embody Hilton’s core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and a proactive focus on the present to sustain and enhance the hotel’s prestigious reputation.

Joining Hilton San Diego Bayfront offers an unparalleled opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a globally recognized hospitality leader. Hilton invests deeply in its team members’ wellbeing and professional growth through exceptional benefits such as discounted travel, stock purchase plans, paid parental leave, wellness resources, and generous time off. This role not only promises a rewarding career path but a chance to lead an iconic property situated in a dynamic city celebrated for its sunshine, cultural richness, and coastal lifestyle.
