We are currently seeking a General Manager to join our team and help drive our store’s success. As General Manager, your primary responsibilities include achieving maximum sales and optimum profitability while mentoring and fostering a high-performing team of managers and staff. You will provide strategic direction and serve as a reliable backup in the absence of the Store Manager. Maintaining effective communication between the store's operational team and corporate directives is paramount, as well as ensuring compliance with company policies, core values, and standard operating procedures. This leadership role demands a balance of hands-on operational oversight and motivational people management to build a cohesive staff culture centered on quality, service, and cleanliness excellence.

The role also requires a proactive approach to recruitment, retention, and training, nurturing a diverse talent pool eager to contribute to the company’s ongoing success. Your leadership will ensure that each team member is cross-trained across different departments including Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar to maximize operational flexibility. By driving customer service through coaching and modeling desired behaviors, you will directly influence guest satisfaction and store reputation.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Two years of store management experience in bakery, restaurant or fast-food
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work full-time including nights and weekend hours
  • Ability to perform moderate physical activity including lifting up to 50 pounds, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling and squatting
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously
  • Willingness to work in environments with temperature variability such as coolers and freezers

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • AA degree, Hospitality Management, or related field preferred
  • Two years of store management experience in bakery, restaurant or fast-food
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high self-confidence
  • In-depth understanding of 85°C products and future concepts
  • Demonstrated success in training, operation development, and customer service
  • Ability to foster an owner mentality among self and subordinates
  • Personal familiarity with daily store operations from opening to closing
  • Experience managing high-volume stores with supervision of ten or more employees
  • Ability to work full-time including nights and weekends

Job Duties

  • Meet and exceed sales and profitability objectives
  • Maintain high personal sales level and drive store results through others
  • Support the recruitment, retention, and development of a diverse pool of talents
  • Deliver the highest level of customer service to each guest
  • Drive customer service by coaching and modelling the desired behaviors
  • Maintain high standard of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety
  • Monitor and meet the performance standard including 85°C policies, core values, and standard operating procedure
  • Ensure all store associates are cross-trained in all departments including Bread, Cake, POS, Bar
