The General Manager is responsible not only for managing day-to-day operations but also for cultivating a positive and motivating culture where every team member feels valued and empowered to deliver their best. This includes training and developing employees to achieve consistent results and fostering an environment reflective of Wingstop's bold and fast-moving personality. Additionally, this role involves driving sales performance, managing labor and food costs effectively, and problem-solving to overcome any operational challenges that arise.
Moreover, the General Manager will maintain regular working hours including opening, closing, and mid-day shifts according to a set schedule that supports the busiest business times. Working five of the busiest days each week, based on store traffic and sales data, you will ensure that staff scheduling complies with federal, state, and local labor laws, including predictive scheduling and required rest periods.
This position also requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift, all within a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
