The General Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the restaurant. This leadership position is responsible for managing all restaurant operations to ensure world-class customer service, accuracy in orders, and consistent product quality. The General Manager will lead and develop an effective team while fostering a work environment that thrives on organizational excellence and employee engagement. Sales goals and profitability targets will be achieved through effective staff management and efficiency in store operations. The individual in this role supervises compliance with all company standards and procedures whether in food preparation, safety, or employee conduct. Additionally, the General Manager will handle administrative duties such as inventory control, cash management, and daily paperwork to keep the restaurant functioning smoothly.
In this position, you will work with a team of assistant managers and staff members ranging from 3 to 15 employees depending on the restaurant size. Your role includes hiring, training, evaluating, and if necessary, disciplining employees within your unit. You will actively participate during busy periods, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled correctly and promptly. Beyond the operational responsibilities, this role requires a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming store. It's a physically demanding position that requires standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. The work environment is moderately noisy and involves interaction with mechanical equipment commonly found in food preparation areas.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- reliable transportation
- physical stamina to work 50-80 hours per week
- ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with arms, talk, listen, and have good vision including peripheral and depth perception
- able to occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds
- willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and days off as needed
- comply with all company policies and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in restaurant management preferred
- strong leadership abilities
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Manages a staff of assistant managers and 3-15 employees depending on location
- assigns, oversees, and evaluates work for compliance
- manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline, and termination of employees
- provides on the job training and coaching for new employees
- delegates and is responsible for ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of all supplies to minimize loss from waste or theft
- assists in supervision, preparation, sales, and service of food
- forecasts food items per shift to maintain efficient inventory
- supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty
- assists team members during rush periods to ensure efficiency
- ensures every customer receives world-class service
- completes daily food preparations including slicing, portioning, and rotating products
- executes systems and procedures with 100 percent integrity and completeness
- completes daily, weekly, and periodic paperwork accurately
- controls inventory using weekly systems and maintains order schedules
- conducts weekly manager meetings
- audits systems, procedures, and paperwork
- completes preventative maintenance and upkeep on store equipment and supplies
- manages cash drawers and deposits per procedure
- performs other related duties as required
