As a General Manager with our franchise, you will be entrusted with steering your restaurant towards operational excellence, ensuring that every aspect of the business—from food quality to customer service and staff management—meets our high standards. This role is integral to our success and requires a hands-on leader who can manage all facets of the restaurant effectively. You will be responsible for supervising a team of assistant managers and between 3 to 15 team members, creating a supportive and productive workplace atmosphere. Your leadership will directly impact the customer experience, store profitability, and overall efficiency.

The General Manager role is demanding yet rewarding, involving significant responsibility for staffing including hiring, training, evaluating, and disciplinary actions. You will coordinate the ordering, storage, and inventory control of food, labor, equipment, and supplies. Operational duties include forecasting food consumption, overseeing food preparation and service, managing cash handling and deposits, and ensuring compliance with all systems and policies. Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment that aligns with brand standards is also a critical aspect of this role, alongside conducting regular audits and equipment maintenance.
Physical stamina and flexibility are required since the job involves standing, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, and sometimes crouching or climbing. You must be prepared to work 50 to 80 hours weekly, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and days off as necessary to meet business demands. This role calls for someone with a strong work ethic, reliable transportation, and a passion for leading teams in a fast-paced setting.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- reliable transportation
- willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends, and days off as business dictates
- physical stamina to work 50-80 hours per week
- ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, climb, crouch, and kneel
- basic math skills including addition, subtraction, and fractions
- ability to see and hear clearly
- willingness to perform tasks that require physical activity and occasional exposure to mechanical parts
- ability to work in a moderate noise environment

Job Duties
- Manage a staff of assistant managers and 3-15 employees depending on location
- assign, oversee, and evaluate work for compliance
- manage hiring, training, evaluating, discipline, and termination of employees
- provide on-the-job training and coaching for new employees
- delegate ordering, receipt, storage, and issuing of food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies
- assist in food preparation, sales, and service
- forecast food consumption per shift
- supervise food preparation and service operations
- assist team members during rush periods
- greet customers, take orders, use cash register, assemble orders, check for accuracy
- ensure every customer receives world-class customer service
- complete daily food preparations including slicing, portioning, and rotating products
- execute systems and procedures with integrity
- complete daily, weekly, and periodic paperwork
- control inventory and maintain ordering schedules
- conduct weekly manager meetings
- audit systems and end-of-shift paperwork
- complete preventative maintenance on equipment
- handle cash drawers, manage deposits and changes per procedure
- perform other related duties as required
