Jimmy John's is a rapidly growing fast-casual restaurant franchise known for its commitment to delivering freaky fresh sandwiches with speed and quality. As a notable player in the fast food industry, Jimmy John's prides itself on offering a unique culture that combines competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, advancement opportunities, and a fun work environment. Our franchisee stands apart from ordinary fast food chains by focusing deeply on customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and operational excellence. We believe in doing more than fast food; we emphasize doing food - fresh, fast, and flavorful.\n\nThe General Manager role is central to our business success. In this position, you will manage all facets of the restaurant operation to guarantee that every customer experience is world class. You will be responsible for leading and coaching a dynamic team ranging from assistant managers to a workforce of approximately 3-15 employees, depending on the location. This leadership role requires hands-on involvement, including overseeing hiring, training, evaluating, and managing team member performance while ensuring strict adherence to operational systems and high food quality standards. As General Manager, you will focus on achieving sales targets and maximizing restaurant profitability by controlling labor, food costs, and maintaining an impeccably clean and organized store environment. You will lead by example, actively participating in food preparation, customer service during peak times, and maintaining store equipment.\n\nBeyond daily operations, the General Manager orchestrates inventory management, including ordering, receiving, storage, and minimizing waste or theft. Your responsibilities extend to completing accurate paperwork, conducting weekly manager meetings, system audits, cash handling, and overseeing deposit procedures. This role demands excellent organizational and time management skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for creating a workplace where employees thrive and customers leave satisfied. With a competitive salary based on experience and performance incentives such as periodic bonuses tied to store metrics, this opportunity offers a rewarding career path. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision coverage, paid time off, and employee meal programs. Career advancement is encouraged, with pathways to roles such as Area Manager or Director of Operations. Join us and experience a job that blends leadership, operational expertise, and a lively, supportive team atmosphere where you can grow professionally and make a meaningful impact.
