The role of General Manager at Double Cut Steakhouse is a pivotal position within Kalahari Resorts & Conventions. Double Cut Steakhouse is a contemporary steakhouse and liquor bar known for its bold flavors and elevated dining experience, making it one of the most sought-after dining venues within a bustling family resort setting. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success and leadership of the restaurant’s front-of-house operations. This includes managing daily activities, scheduling labor, controlling inventory and costs, mentoring staff, and maintaining high standards for food and beverage quality and guest service. Starting at a competitive salary of $85,000, this role is well-suited for experienced hospitality professionals with a strong background in steakhouse operations, food and beverage management, and wine knowledge. The successful candidate will bring at least three years of steakhouse experience and food and beverage management in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment. Experience with craft cocktails and financial management including profit and loss reviews is preferred. This role plays a critical part in achieving business objectives related to sales, service, quality, and facility appearance while ensuring excellent sanitation and cleanliness standards through ongoing training and positive workplace culture.

Job Requirements
- Three years of steakhouse experience
- Three years in a food and beverage management role
- Strong wine knowledge
- Experience with training and P&L review
- Preferred experience with craft cocktails
- Ability to lead, coach, and mentor staff
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- At least three years of steakhouse experience
- Minimum three years in a food and beverage management role in a full-service, high-volume restaurant
- Significant wine knowledge
- Experience with systems, consistent and evolving training, and profit and loss review
- Preferred two years of directly related experience including craft cocktails
Job Duties
- Manage day-to-day front-of-house operations
- Schedule labor, inventory, and cost control
- Lead and mentor all front-of-house associates
- Ensure all food and beverage products are consistently prepared and served according to restaurant standards
- Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness
