Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience in managing attractions facility operations, budgets, security and safety, facility technology and systems
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
- Strong judgment of talent to effectively hire, train and reward employees
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Required to work weekends, evenings and holidays
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with good command of English
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritize work requirements
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and support internal and external partner goals, public needs, and corporate marketing
- Travel to attend regional meetings, visit retail operations and other attractions and attend national and international conventions as appropriate
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred
- Minimum of 10 years supervisory experience managing attractions operations
- Strong judgment in hiring and talent management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and support partner goals
- Experience in public relations and corporate marketing
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Capable of occasional travel for meetings and conventions
Job Duties
- Develop annual financial and operating business plans
- Oversee individual managers to deliver the annual operational budget
- Lead, coach, and develop the management team with a focus on guest service and operational excellence
- Oversee hiring, training, and performance management SOPs for frontline personnel
- Implement all established SOPs including emergency procedures and cash controls
- Collaborate on marketing and media planning with the national team
- Lead vendor selection and contract negotiations
- Manage design projects to upgrade attractions
- Act as key leader in the management team for sharing best practices and development
- Participate in Manager of the Day rotation overseeing all departments
- Serve as primary liaison with local government and community organizations
- Network with local businesses to build partnerships
