As a leading service provider in the corporate dining sector, Sodexo is seeking a talented and driven General Manager/Chef to lead culinary operations at a new Corporate Services account. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a high-level culinary professional who possesses strong front-of-house and back-of-house skills, excellent financial acumen, and a passion for innovation in the culinary arts. The position entails comprehensive oversight of the main cafeteria, which also functions as a commissary kitchen supporting an additional onsite unit. The General Manager/Chef will be responsible for managing retail dining, catering services, and micro market operations, ensuring that each facet of the culinary and food service experience meets Sodexo's high standards.

The General Manager/Chef will play a hands-on leadership role, directly overseeing daily food production activities that include planning, preparation, and quality control. A critical component of this position is ensuring compliance with Sodexo Culinary Standards and recipes, which maintain the company's reputation for high-quality dining experiences. The successful candidate will also be entrusted with managing food costs, inventory handling, and cultivating productive relationships with vendors to operate efficiently within budgetary constraints.

Creativity and innovation are key expectations in this role, with the General Manager/Chef charged with developing creative, high-quality menus that not only meet but exceed client and customer expectations. Leading a team of approximately 10 frontline Sodexo employees, the individual will be responsible for training, mentoring, and supervising staff to build a motivated and skilled workforce that delivers excellent service consistently.

In addition to day-to-day kitchen management, the role includes oversight of catering functions and special events, as well as providing multi-site foodservice support which is essential for seamless operation across varied service points. The General Manager/Chef must prioritize customer satisfaction and continuously seek ways to elevate the dining experience through innovation, attention to detail, and operational excellence.
