Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years old or older
- must have current ServSafe certification or obtain within 30 days of employment
- reliable transportation
- ability to lift 50+ pounds
- ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, and perform repetitive hand/arm motions for prolonged periods
- ability to work in a fast-paced and highly stressed environment
- knowledge of English sufficient to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- ability to taste test products for quality control
- compliance with local Health Department requirements and food handler permits as required by law.
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required, BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
- experience in coaching and developing teams in a retail environment
- availability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to provide disciplined leadership and hold teams accountable
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of food safety standards and operational best practices.
Job Duties
- Achieve sales, labor, and food cost targets for store profitability
- supervise and direct staff including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and scheduling
- monitor and control variable operating expenses and inventory levels to ensure cost control without compromising quality
- manage cash handling and financial reporting including bank deposits and securing cash
- ensure store security, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations
- oversee the maintenance and cleaning of equipment and physical facilities
- coordinate and execute promotional, marketing, and public relations activities
- maintain accurate timekeeping and approval of vendor invoices
- provide leadership and accountability to staff and perform supervisory responsibilities including employment decisions
- maintain good working relations with mall management and participate in related committees
- perform all duties safely and be a working manager on the front line with team members.
