Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years old or older
  • ability to perform prolonged standing, walking, squatting, bending, and repetitive hand/arm motions
  • ability to lift over 50 pounds
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, highly stressed environment
  • agility and physical stamina
  • assist in training and development of new hires
  • ability to work occasional long hours within legal limits
  • ability to write simple correspondence in English
  • ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one and small group situations
  • ability to test products by taste, color, and smell
  • reliable transportation
  • current ServSafe certification required or must obtain within 30 days
  • food handler permit as required by local laws
  • compliance with all local health department requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • experience in coaching and developing teams in a retail environment
  • availability to work shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Achieve store financial targets including sales, labor, and food costs
  • supervise and direct staff including hiring, training, evaluating, disciplining, and scheduling
  • maintain store security and safety
  • manage inventory levels, waste control, and quality assurance
  • oversee cash handling and timely financial reporting
  • ensure compliance with store policies and relevant regulations
  • coordinate promotional, marketing, advertising, and public relations activities
