Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years experience as a general manager
  • 5 years management experience in similar property
  • excellent communication skills
  • knowledge of vacation ownership principles and HOA laws
  • ability to develop inclusive workplace culture
  • financial acumen including budget management
  • leadership and team development skills
  • experience in food and beverage and spa operations
  • preferred project management experience

Job Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of vacation ownership principles and HOA laws
  • comprehensive understanding of financial principles and resort and HOA financial analysis
  • demonstrated ability to develop and maintain a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • 3-5 years prior general manager experience
  • 5 years management experience in a comparable property
  • experience leading food and beverage and spa operations in high-volume hospitality
  • preferred project management experience
  • BA/BS bachelor's degree

Job Duties

  • Build strong internal and external customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions
  • instill trust by gaining confidence through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
  • collaborate and build partnerships to meet shared objectives
  • coordinate with business management staff to ensure accurate records and cost control
  • proactively tackle new opportunities and challenges with urgency and enthusiasm
  • ensure efficient operation of front office, housekeeping, and maintenance functions
  • communicate continuously with the homeowners association board of directors
  • develop and maintain cost and labor controls to operate within budget
  • acquire, develop, and retain an engaged team through effective leadership
  • conduct periodic inspections of units, building, and grounds to identify deficiencies
  • maintain commitment to a people-first culture
  • ensure guest and owner safety and security and maintain crisis management plans
  • assure compliance with labor laws
  • collaborate with developer, homeowners' association, and project management
  • perform other assigned duties
