The position available is for a Hotel General Manager, a critical leadership role encompassing comprehensive responsibility for daily operations, team management, and strategic business leadership at the property. The General Manager will lead all facets of hotel operations including food and beverage management, sales and marketing initiatives, profitability and revenue optimization, human resources functions, and capital improvement projects. This role acts as the primary driver of the property’s strategic direction, ensuring that service standards, brand initiatives, and guest satisfaction goals are routinely met or surpassed. Emphasis is placed on building and sustaining strong relationships with customers and key decision makers to support sales efforts and market growth. The General Manager will work closely with Marriott's regional sales offices and market sales teams to implement tailored sales strategies, evaluate property performance metrics, and execute innovative revenue-generating plans.

Operational management is a key aspect of this role, requiring oversight of service programs, labor flow, compliance audits, facility cleanliness, and implementation of brand standards. The manager also acts as a project lead for renovations, reinventions, and capital improvements, ensuring the hotel remains competitive, modern, and inviting. Food and beverage operations demand close monitoring of costs, quality standards, waste reduction, and technology troubleshooting. The General Manager’s proactive coaching and real-time feedback to the team promote consistent service excellence and operational efficiency.

Job Duties

  • function as the primary strategic business leader of the property
