We partner with school districts to manage and enhance their food service programs, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with safety standards, and financial efficiency. Our team-oriented culture values innovation, accountability, and community engagement, with a strong focus on serving children and supporting educational environments. As an employer, we emphasize leadership development, continuous training, and inclusive work practices, offering individuals a chance to make a tangible difference in their communities through impactful food service management. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and actively participate in the federal E-Verify Employment Eligibility Program.
The role of General Manager in our K-12 food service program is a pivotal leadership position that requires a strategic and hands-on approach to overseeing food service operations within a school district or across multiple school sites. This full-time role is designed for an individual who is passionate about leading teams, managing financial aspects, and directly influencing the quality of meals served to students. The General Manager will take responsibility for supervising both salaried managers and hourly associates, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards, and developing innovative strategies to increase student participation in meal programs. This position demands strong communication skills to maintain effective relationships with district administrators, school boards, and internal teams. The General Manager will also oversee budgeting processes, control labor and food costs, and handle various reporting duties including inventory and payroll. With a combination of leadership, operational management, and client relationship skills, the successful candidate will drive program growth and execute marketing efforts to promote the food service initiatives. The ability to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet the unique challenges of K-12 food service makes this position an exceptional opportunity for career advancement in the food service industry.
