We are currently seeking a General Manager to oversee the Food & Nutrition Services Department within a hospital setting. This is a critical leadership position responsible for planning, managing, and guiding multiple contracted services that typically generate $2 million to over $15 million in revenue. The ideal candidate will be a capable operations manager who excels in team leadership, client relations, financial management, and operational efficiency. The General Manager will ensure that daily operations align with client expectations, financial goals, and stringent regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will lead a skilled team to deliver outstanding service to hospital clients and their customers. You will build and nurture strong client and community relationships, continually assessing operational performance and developing innovative strategies for enhancing service delivery, employee satisfaction, and customer experience. Your ability to understand client business needs, interpret contractual obligations, and find opportunities for service improvement will be essential to success.

Financial stewardship is a key component of this role. In partnership with the finance team, you will manage departmental budgets, implement financial controls, and drive initiatives to optimize profitability and productivity. Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Aramark’s own operational standards, including safety and business conduct policies, is imperative. This position demands a proactive, strategic leader who is equally comfortable with hands-on management and high-level operational planning.
