Their vision revolves around enriching people's lives by delivering memorable experiences, contributing positively to their communities, and honoring their faith in all endeavors.
Pacific Hospitality Group exemplifies commitment to integrity, compliance, value creation, principled entrepreneurship, customer focus, knowledge, change, humility, respect, and fulfillment, which are the core guiding principles shaping its culture and operational ethos. This emphasis on core values helps maintain a strong, ethical, and service-oriented environment throughout its properties, especially the Meritage Collection luxury hotels and resorts.
The role available with Pacific Hospitality Group offers a competitive salary range of $275,000 to $310,000, reflecting the level of responsibility and expertise required. This position is a top-tier leadership role, ideal for an experienced General Manager or Assistant General Manager who exhibits exceptional business acumen and hospitality leadership skills.
In this capacity, the individual will be responsible for the overall success and profitability of one of the luxury resorts within the Meritage Collection. This includes maximizing top-line revenue, controlling expenses, and ensuring all operational goals align with and exceed budgetary expectations. The role demands a sophisticated understanding of hotel management, product quality, guest service, staff satisfaction, and safety. As the final decision-maker regarding the welfare and safety of the property, guests, and team members, the General Manager will create a secure and welcoming atmosphere.
The successful candidate will lead with exemplary executive-level leadership, overseeing all departments and directing subordinate directors and managers. The professional will prepare and manage the annual budget, utilizing corporate tools to forecast and analyze financial data, and make strategic decisions that drive profitability. This position requires close collaboration with sales and marketing teams to optimize revenue generation across all departments—including rooms, food and beverage, spa, recreation, and retail operations.
Moreover, the leader will foster a culture of outstanding service throughout the property, ensuring guest satisfaction through consistent delivery of exceptional experiences and swift resolution of any issues. Maintaining the physical appearance and operational excellence of the property is essential, as is managing preventative maintenance, safety, and security for both guests and team members.
Developing a world-class management team is a critical component of this role. The General Manager is responsible for talent acquisition, training, supervision, performance evaluations, and ensuring open communication and engagement among team members. Proactive support for team member growth and discipline within organizational policies will be vital.
Physical and mental demands include regular walking, standing, talking, hearing, occasional lifting, and exposure to various environmental conditions typical in a hospitality setting, requiring both stamina and attention to detail.
Pacific Hospitality Group offers an inclusive workplace, providing equal employment opportunities and prohibiting discrimination based on diverse factors including race, religion, gender identity, and more. This policy applies to all employment terms and conditions, emphasizing the company’s dedication to creating a fair and supportive environment.
