The General Manager position at this location is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the property. This leadership role is critical to ensuring the financial success, physical upkeep, and positive work atmosphere of the hotel. The General Manager is charged with ensuring all corporate financial and operational procedures are followed, maintaining compliance with safety regulations, and guaranteeing guest satisfaction through high-quality service delivery.
Key responsibilities include recruiting, interviewing, and training all property staff to deliver excellent service and uphold the company's standards. The General Manager manages office operations including the check-in and check-out process, cash handling, payroll, bookkeeping, and reporting. Expertise in computer systems and management of maintenance and repair issues is expected to maintain the physical integrity of the property. Additionally, the role requires career-driven individuals who can analyze financial performance through revenue management, pricing strategies, budgeting, and cost control to maximize profitability.

The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of management experience, preferably within the hospitality or related industry, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. The position also includes physical requirements such as the ability to stand for extended periods, occasional lifting, and extensive use of computers and office equipment. Job Duties
- Recruit, interview and hire all property staff
- Train, develop and support property staff
- Manage office operations including guest check-in and check-out, cash control, bookkeeping, and payroll
- Ensure and provide excellent guest service
- Develop expertise on computer operating systems
- Identify and manage repair and maintenance issues
- Identify capital expenditure needs and assist with projects
- Manage life/safety issues and property inspections
- Notify supervisor of guest concerns
- Maximize financial performance through revenue management and pricing strategies
- Meet budgets through P&L analysis and effective cost control
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets
- Monitor local competitors and drive sales through marketing
- Develop positive relationships with local government authorities
- Assist in recruitment and training of other General Managers
