Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, hotel administration, business administration, or related field
- Extensive experience in hospitality industry with progressively increasing responsibility
- Management experience in hotel operations
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in hotel management software

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, hotel administration, business administration, or related field
- Extensive experience in hospitality industry with increasing levels of responsibility
- Previous management experience including assistant general manager, director of operations, or department head roles
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Business acumen in financial management including budgeting and forecasting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Proficiency in hotel management software including property management systems and revenue management systems
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality and service
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Preferred certifications such as Certified Hotel Administrator or Certified Hospitality Administrator

Job Duties
- Provide strong leadership to hotel staff including department heads to ensure alignment with hotel goals
- Supervise and manage hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, and disciplining of all hotel personnel
- Foster a positive work environment encouraging teamwork and high morale
- Oversee daily hotel operations including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance departments
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures for efficient management
- Monitor hotel performance metrics such as occupancy, revenue per available room, and guest satisfaction and take corrective action
- Ensure exceptional guest service by setting and maintaining high customer service standards
- Address guest complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and retention
- Implement strategies to enhance guest experience and exceed expectations
- Develop and manage hotel’s annual budget including revenue forecasting and expense management
- Monitor financial performance and implement cost-control measures
- Identify revenue growth opportunities and maximize profitability
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to increase occupancy and promote the hotel’s brand
- Maintain relationships with corporate clients, travel agencies, and key stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards including health and safety
- Conduct inspections and audits to maintain quality standards of cleanliness, safety, and service
- Represent the hotel in local community and build relationships with businesses and organizations
- Participate in industry events to promote brand and network
- Develop and execute long-term strategic plans for expansion, renovation, and rebranding
- Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to adjust strategies accordingly
