Job Description

Crash Champions is a premier and rapidly expanding brand recognized as the largest founder-led multi-shop operator (MSO) of high-quality collision repair services in the United States. Established in 1999 by industry veteran Matt Ebert, an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Midwest 2023 winner, Crash Champions has grown from a single repair center in Chicago to over 650 state-of-the-art locations across 38 states. The company is renowned for its commitment to excellence, innovative service standards, and people-first philosophy, reflected in its motto, "Champions Do More." It also operates Crash Champions LUXE | EV Certified, a distinctive brand specializing in highline and luxury electric vehicle repairs, emphasizing the company’s dedication to adapting to emerging automotive trends and technologies. This growth and innovation confirm Crash Champions as a leader in the collision repair industry, respected for delivering superior service quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Crash Champions is currently seeking an Operations Manager to join their dynamic team. This full-time regular position is integral to managing the efficiency and productivity of the shop’s operations, from vehicle intake through to delivery. The Operations Manager will be responsible for meeting or exceeding location revenue goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality repairs that comply with company policies and industry standards, including I-Car quality benchmarks. Their responsibilities will include labor assignment, equipment and workforce management, payroll, and staff scheduling while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and back-of-shop PPE guidelines to maintain teammate safety. Additionally, this position involves supporting teammates during busy periods, handling customer interactions, estimating repair costs, and collaborating with parts managers, estimators, and body technicians to keep production on track.

Leadership and talent management are critical elements of the role. The Operations Manager will be entrusted with hiring, coaching, and developing team members, driving performance, and facilitating growth opportunities to maintain a high-performing, motivated workforce. A proficiency with estimating software, specifically CCC ONE Total Repair Software, and a solid knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements are essential for accurate and compliant damage repair assessments. Candidates should possess strong decision-making skills, the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, and a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering successful results.

The compensation for this role ranges from $75,000 to $128,700 annually, with potential performance-based bonuses. The company offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, group life insurance, disability insurance, a 401k retirement plan with matching contributions, paid holidays, and a referral bonus program known as "Cash From Crash." Crash Champions is committed to fostering a supportive work environment where employees can grow professionally and contribute to a company that truly champions people. This position demands a passion for excellence, operational expertise, and leadership skills to drive the success of one of the most reputable collision repair brands in the country.
