The Restaurant General Manager role is a pivotal leadership position responsible for the flawless execution of operations at the restaurant. Job Duties

  • ensures flawless execution of every detail by every team member to exceed guest expectations
  • provides direction, coaching, training and development including food quality, service standards, safety, sanitation and company policies
  • ensures all food, beverage and service standards and policies are adhered to
  • partners with the GM to ensure financial performance of the restaurant
  • ensures consistent execution of systems, standards, inventory and cost controls
  • partners with the GM to create and implement plans to improve financial performance
  • partners with GM to plan, execute and follow up on new company initiatives
  • utilizes catering team to inspire community involvement and build sales
  • ensures team and manager schedules support positive restaurant performance
  • interviews and assists in final selection of team members maintaining staffing levels
  • partners with GM to verify daily administration compliance
  • proactively organizes and plans work anticipating business needs
  • communicates effectively with guests, team, management, owners, and vendors
  • responds to guest feedback promptly ensuring positive recovery
  • ensures cleanliness of facilities and sufficient supplies
