On the Go is a premier hospitality company specializing in enhancing the dining and retail experience within some of North America's busiest airports. This role is located at MCO Airport and is a full-time, salaried position offering a compensation range of $65,000 to $75,000 per year. The General Manager position reports directly to the Airport Director and plays a pivotal leadership role within On the Go's airport operations. The General Manager oversees the day-to-day management of multiple OTG units, focusing on restaurants and Cibo Markets. This includes all aspects of operational management such as staffing both Front of the House and Back of the House, employee development and training, ensuring high-quality food standards and presentation, managing inventory and merchandising, as well as labor and cost control to meet budgetary goals.
The General Manager is responsible for promoting a culture of pride, cooperation, and success within their units. They ensure adherence to policies and procedures and actively drive guest service excellence. Additionally, they take front-line responsibility for scheduling, managing costs and sales projections weekly, and maintaining efficient staffing levels. Leadership in this role also extends to hiring and recruitment, fostering a positive workplace culture, and ensuring a safe, hazard-free work environment aligned with company safety policies. By providing clear direction to managers and crewmembers alike, the General Manager ensures team alignment and achievement of operational and financial objectives.

Job Requirements
- Degree in hospitality or culinary field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of senior managerial experience in multi-unit concepts
- 1 to 3 years of retail experience is a plus
- Proficient knowledge of p and l budgeting and forecasting
- Strong culinary background and fine dining experience are a plus
- Commitment to service of customers crew co-workers and management
- Demonstrated dependability personal drive and leadership ability to lead by example
- High level of integrity work ethic passion and commitment to otg values
- Ability to train delegate coach and aid in the development of crewmembers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work varied hours days nights weekends holidays and during inclement weather conditions
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Promote an attitude of pride cooperation and success in the unit
- Accountable for the ordering process and overall unit budgets
- Accountable for all cost and sales projections on a weekly basis
- Ensure cost-effective and efficient staffing and adherence to labor budgets
- Accountable for unit scheduling managers as well as crewmembers
- Provide leadership to the managers and crew members in the unit
- Accountable for establishing and maintaining high standards for food quality and customer service
