The current opportunity is for the role of General Manager, a critical leadership position within Chipotle's growing network of restaurants. As Chipotle expands rapidly, opening nearly one new restaurant daily, the General Manager role is essential in leading teams, managing restaurant operations, and fostering a thriving culture aligned with the company's values. In this full-time leadership position, the General Manager will lead from the front by recruiting, hiring, and developing employees—ranging from crew members to apprentices and shift leaders—using Chipotle’s established training tools and processes. Accountability extends to all facets of the restaurant’s operations, including scheduling, profit and loss management, sales forecasting, and compliance with food safety and operational standards. The General Manager also ensures that each restaurant environment is guest-ready, clean, and welcoming, consistently delivering an outstanding dining experience that aligns with Chipotle's standard for hospitality.

Job Requirements
- Previous restaurant management experience
- Ability to stand and walk for 10 hours a day
- Ability to lift 50lbs (25kgs)
- Availability to work lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and people management abilities
- Compliance with food safety and operational standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience including scheduling, P&L management, food safety, sales forecasting, and recruiting
- Proven leadership skills with a focus on team building and people development
- Creative approach to marketing and driving sales through community engagement
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands
- Passion for hospitality and providing excellent guest experiences
Job Duties
- Be guest obsessed and uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality
- Ensure speed of service, accuracy, and positive guest obsessed experience
- Be responsible for the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment and hiring, people processes and performance management
- Train and develop crew members, shift leaders, and apprentices using Chipotle’s training resources
- Direct team members to deliver accurate and on-time digital orders
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations including creating and managing schedules, P&L control, sales forecasting, and recruiting
- Ensure the dining room remains clean and the restaurant is guest-ready
- Uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards
- Be accountable for overall financial success including achieving sales and cash flow plans
- Work a schedule that includes lunch, dinner, and weekend shifts to provide leadership across all hours of operation
