The General Manager role at Chipotle is a dynamic leadership position central to the company’s fast expansion and success. Job Requirements

  • prior management experience in a restaurant or food service environment

Job Duties

  • Be guest obsessed and uphold top-notch standards of excellence and hospitality
  • ensure speed of service, accuracy, and a positive guest experience
  • manage full employee lifecycle including recruitment, hiring, people processes, and performance management
  • train and develop crew members, shift leaders, and apprentices using Chipotle’s training tools
  • direct team members to deliver accurate and on-time digital orders
  • oversee day-to-day restaurant operations including scheduling, P&L management, sales forecasting, and recruiting
  • maintain cleanliness and guest-ready dining environment
  • uphold food safety, operational, and compliance standards
  • achieve overall financial success of the restaurant by meeting annual sales and cash flow targets
  • work varied shifts including lunch, dinner, and weekends to provide leadership across all hours of operation
