Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years in hospitality management
- At least 2 years as General Manager in fine dining or luxury hospitality
- Proven experience managing P&L and labor costs
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency with POS, scheduling, and reservation software
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Knowledge of California labor and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication skills
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years of hospitality management experience
- 2+ years as a General Manager in fine dining, luxury hospitality, or upscale restaurant concepts
- Strong P&L management and labor cost control experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of POS, scheduling, and reservation systems
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Experience with Japanese cuisine or luxury hospitality (preferred)
- Japanese-English bilingual (preferred)
- California Food Manager Certification (ServSafe or equivalent) (preferred)
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification (preferred)
Job Duties
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure exceptional guest experiences
- Manage opening/closing procedures and daily service execution
- Monitor labor costs, food costs (COGS), and overall financial performance
- Oversee inventory, purchasing, and vendor relationships
- Ensure compliance with food safety and California labor regulations
- Recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant staff
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback
- Foster a positive, team-oriented culture focused on hospitality
- Partner with HR on hiring, employee relations, and compliance
- Build relationships with guests and ensure outstanding service
- Resolve guest concerns professionally and promptly
