Job Description

The role being offered is the position of Restaurant General Manager, which is a critical leadership role focused on overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring optimal performance, and fostering a customer-centric culture.

In this role, the Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for managing all facets of the restaurant operations with a keen eye on food quality, service standards, safety, and sanitation. They will coach, train, and develop team members to maintain the highest standards of hospitality while upholding company policies and procedures. Financial management is a key component of this role, requiring partnership with the general manager team to achieve and surpass financial goals through cost control, inventory management, and strategic planning. The General Manager will implement new company initiatives and constantly seek ways to improve the restaurant's operational efficiency and profitability.

Additionally, this leader will play a pivotal role in staff management, including hiring, scheduling, and employee development to ensure that the restaurant is staffed with highly motivated and skilled team members. The restaurant expects the General Manager to maintain a safe and professional work environment, fostering teamwork and high morale while addressing guest feedback promptly to ensure positive outcomes. Physical demands include the ability to operate equipment safely, manage multiple priorities under pressure, and maintain operational standards both inside and outside the restaurant. This position is ideal for an experienced restaurant manager who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and is passionate about operational excellence and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • Some college preferred
  • Minimum of three years of high volume full-service restaurant management experience
  • Exceptional leadership and motivational skills required
  • Ability to attract, train, develop and retain the very best team members
  • Strong guest service focus
  • Ability to define, measure and attain financial goals with focus on sales growth, guest count increases, staffing levels, guest service measurements, cost of goods and labor cost management
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Ability to talk and hear and use hands repetitively
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch and climb ladder or step stool
  • Dexterity required for handling food items and dishes

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Ensures flawless execution of every detail, every shift, by every team member, to ensure we exceed guest expectations at all times
  • Provides direction, coaching, training and development for team members including food quality, service standards, safety and sanitation, and company policies and procedures
  • Ensures all food, beverage and service standards, policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Partners with the GM to ensure financial performance of the restaurant
  • Ensures consistent execution of all systems, standards, inventory and cost controls
  • Partners with the GM to create and implement plans that result in improved financial performance in all areas of the operation
  • Utilizes catering team to inspire community involvement and build sales
