This job opportunity is with a hotel operated by Dalwadi Hospitality Management, LLC, an independent franchisee. This company is distinct from Marriott International, Inc., managing all aspects of employment policies and practices on its own accord. Dalwadi Hospitality Management oversees the hotel located at 22100 Grand Corner Dr, Katy, Texas, providing lodging, hospitality, and guest services in accordance with the brand standards and its operational goals. The position is for a General Manager, a full-time management role responsible for directing all hotel operations to ensure overall success and guest satisfaction. This leadership role requires comprehensive oversight of departments including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage. The General Manager is accountable for the financial performance of the hotel, monitoring labor costs, payroll, expenses, and aligning them with budgets and financial objectives. They lead recruitment efforts, staff training, coaching, and development to build a competent and motivated team. Maintaining adherence to company policies, brand standards, and safety regulations is vital to the role. The General Manager also works closely with Sales and Revenue Management teams to drive occupancy rates and revenues, solidifying the hotel’s competitive position in the market.
In addition to operational management, the General Manager is charged with fostering a positive, accountable work environment and holding regular meetings to ensure clear communication across departments. They must ensure exceptional guest services by promptly addressing concerns and implementing standards that uphold cleanliness, safety, and quality. Regular property inspections and accurate timely reporting are fundamental responsibilities that support ongoing smooth operations. This role demands flexibility including working weekends and holidays when required. The starting salary is $55,000 annually, paid bi-weekly, with eligibility for bonuses based on performance metrics. Job Duties
- Oversee daily hotel operations including Front Desk Housekeeping Maintenance and Food & Beverage
- Recruit train coach and develop team members
- Conduct daily staff meetings and maintain effective communication across all departments
- Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns
- Monitor hotel performance labor costs payroll and expenses to meet financial goals
- Review and approve employee timecards and schedules
- Ensure compliance with company policies brand standards and safety regulations
- Conduct regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness safety and overall appearance
- Complete and submit required reports accurately and on time
- Work closely with Sales and Revenue Management to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Maintain a positive work environment focused on accountability teamwork and service excellence
