The position of General Manager at Aramark Sports & Entertainment in Cincinnati, Ohio, is an exciting leadership opportunity within a large multi-sport complex. This role is pivotal in managing comprehensive food and beverage operations including concessions, catering, and premium dining services within a high-volume, fast-paced environment. As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing multiple contracted services with multi-million dollar revenues, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service that aligns with client objectives and satisfies guest expectations. This role involves hands-on leadership, strategic planning, and robust financial management to meet defined operating goals and maximize profitability.

Your leadership will extend through a diverse team of salaried direct reports, including managers and operations staff managing various food and beverage outlets. You will partner closely with senior leadership, including the Senior General Manager and the region’s Vice President of Operations, to craft and execute strategies that foster business growth, enhance customer experience, and drive operational excellence. Candidate success hinges on strong client relationship management, the ability to innovate promotional concepts for revenue enhancement, and a focus on maintaining safety and compliance at all times.

This is a salaried position, ranging from $80,000 to $85,000 annually, with additional bonus opportunities contingent upon meeting financial and performance goals. The role requires flexibility including working evenings, weekends, and holidays to support events such as large sports games, concerts, and special catering functions.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of large venue or multi-unit management experience
  • Experience in premium and concessions management preferred
  • Proven ability to manage P&L in a large operation
  • Strong leadership skills managing large teams
  • Good communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • Willingness to comply with uniform and personal protective equipment requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of large venue or multi-unit management experience
  • Premium and concessions management experience preferred
  • Direct P&L responsibility within a comparably scoped environment
  • Ability to lead a large team of culinary and operations managers in a high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lead in a complex environment with a keen focus on client and guest service, entrepreneurship, while building and growing a strong business
  • A passion for food and beverage with an ability to identify and develop successful concepts
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients and senior management
  • Ability to respond effectively to changing demands
  • P&L accountability and/or contract-managed service experience is desirable
  • Willingness to be hands-on with staff and operations and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Full P&L responsibility in regard to food and beverage
  • Manage the client relationship at the location while providing hands-on execution and leadership of operations
  • Leadership of a large team of managers and workforce throughout multiple units and concepts
  • Develop new concepts to increase existing revenue sources for public foods/concessions, premium service, and catering outlets
  • Partner with the Senior General Manager and region's Vice President of Operations to plan and execute business development strategy for growth
  • Recruitment and development of new and existing managers
  • Interact successfully with the client, stadium guests, and team members on a regular basis
