The General Manager position at Chipotle presents an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing company that opens nearly one new restaurant every day. This role is pivotal in cultivating a strong leadership culture onsite, where you lead by example, nurture your team, and drive operational excellence. As General Manager, you will be responsible for the full employee lifecycle including hiring, training, performance management, and development of crew members, shift leaders, and apprentices using Chipotle’s comprehensive training tools. The position demands a hands-on approach to managing restaurant operations—from scheduling, P&L control, sales forecasting to marketing and community engagement. You will be charged with maintaining the highest standards of hospitality, food safety, speed and quality of service, and guest satisfaction while ensuring the restaurant is financially successful and compliant with operational standards.

This role requires someone who is passionate about hospitality and leadership, with previous restaurant management experience demonstrating proficiency in scheduling, P&L management, food safety standards, sales planning, and recruiting. The work environment is fast-paced and physically active, requiring the ability to stand and move around the restaurant for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work various shifts including weekends and holidays. In return for your commitment and leadership, Chipotle offers a competitive compensation package with a base salary estimated between $55,000 and $77,500, along with quarterly performance-based bonuses, comprehensive health benefits, tuition assistance, paid time off, and extensive opportunities for career growth.
