The Role: The position available at California Pizza Kitchen is a dynamic management role focused on leading front-of-house (FOH) operations in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment. With an annual salary range of $80,000 to $85,000, this role involves delivering an outstanding guest experience while inspiring and motivating the team to embody CPK’s values and culture. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations including sales, profitability, and guest counts, while managing budgets, payroll, and labor expenditures to meet financial goals. This leadership role entails recruiting, developing, and cross-training team members to ensure that the restaurant delivers hospitality and culinary execution at its best. The position also requires maintaining high sanitation standards to ensure a safe and healthy environment for guests and employees. The role includes a comprehensive eight-week training program utilizing multiple learning methodologies such as online courses, books, and hands-on teaching to prepare managers with the skills and knowledge necessary for success. Job Requirements
- Minimum of two years FOH management experience in a high volume, fast paced restaurant
- Strong communication skills - verbal and written
- Exceptional leadership skills - ability to motivate, inspire and develop a team
- Passionate about execution, hospitality and service
- Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 10 hours a day
- Ability to stoop, bend or kneel occasionally
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Ability to use computer terminals
- Vision requirements including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
- Willingness to comply with sanitation standards and procedures
