Job Description

Highgate Hotels is a premier real estate investment and hospitality management company with a robust portfolio encompassing over $15 billion in assets across more than 400 hotels worldwide. Originating with a 30-year legacy of pioneering innovation in the hospitality industry, Highgate continues to excel by integrating contemporary lifestyle concepts with cutting-edge digital strategies. Operating across North America, Europe, the Caribbean, and Latin America, the company specializes in managing bespoke lifestyle hotel brands, legacy brands, and independent hotels that cater to diverse guest needs. Renowned for its expert guidance through all property stages, from initial planning and development to recapitalization and disposition, Highgate leverages industry-leading revenue management technology to anticipate market trends and maximize asset value. The company's leadership team comprises seasoned hospitality professionals who uphold its reputation as a trusted partner to exclusive ownership groups and major hotel brands.

The Goodtime Hotel, a new mixed-use project designed by Morris Adjmi and Ken Fulk in the heart of Miami Beach, offers over 45,000 square feet of premium retail space that attracts millions of tourists annually. Within this vibrant setting, the hotel is seeking a seasoned General Manager dedicated to enhancing hotel profitability through strategic revenue growth, cost management, guest satisfaction, and employee development. This full-time leadership role demands strong operational acumen and proven expertise in food and beverage management, ideally within Marriott or similar luxury/lifestyle hotel brands. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive experience managing high-volume day and nightlife operations, including coordinating with promoters and third-party entertainment providers.

The General Manager will play a critical role in overseeing hotel departments, conducting financial reviews, driving sales initiatives, and fostering employee growth through comprehensive training programs. Additionally, the role requires active participation in budget creation, guest service excellence, preventive maintenance adherence, and compliance with corporate standards. The candidate must exhibit exemplary leadership qualities—including motivational skills, performance management, and problem-solving abilities—while maintaining a warm and guest-focused atmosphere throughout the property. This position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic hospitality venue in a premier location, contributing to Highgate Hotels’ ongoing success in luxury and lifestyle hospitality management.
