This General Manager position is a full-time leadership role with a competitive base salary, complemented by an annual incentive bonus plan. The individual chosen for this position will be entrusted with the strategic and operational leadership of the hotel, responsible for overseeing all facets of daily management and long-term planning. Key responsibilities include driving financial performance, enhancing guest satisfaction, inspiring and developing a high-performing leadership team, and maintaining operational excellence in adherence to Marriott's brand standards.
The successful candidate will bring over five years of experience managing full-service hotels, preferably with a strong background in union leadership and Marriott brand operations. Exceptional financial acumen is essential, with expertise in managing profit and loss statements, budgets, forecasts, and comprehensive business plans. This role requires a hands-on, passionate hospitality leader capable of fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
In addition to operational responsibilities, the General Manager will act as a primary ambassador of the hotel within the local community, cultivating strong relationships with ownership, community partners, and key stakeholders. Job Requirements
- 5 plus years of experience as a general manager or hotel manager in a full-service hotel environment
- union leadership experience required
