Job Description
WKS Restaurant Group is a dynamic and rapidly expanding multi-concept franchise restaurant developer and operator with a presence in over 17 states and operating more than 300 stores. As a licensed franchisee, WKS manages an impressive portfolio of renowned brands including El Pollo Loco, Wendy's, Denny's, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Blaze Pizza, and Corner Bakery Cafe. The company is well known for its commitment to quality, excellent customer service, and innovative operations management within the fast-casual and casual dining industry. WKS Restaurant Group's growth strategy hinges on careful market analysis, strong operational excellence, and a dedication to fostering a positive work environment for its employees.
The role of a Wendy's restaurant manager within the WKS Restaurant Group involves comprehensive responsibility for managing the operations and staff of the Wendy's location. This position entails ensuring the flawless execution of all company policies, procedures, programs, and systems to uphold the brand's standards. The manager plays a critical role in reaching business objectives across all operational areas while maintaining strict adherence to company guidelines and compliance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as ethical business practices. Leadership is a key aspect of this job, requiring the manager to provide direction, training, and professional development opportunities to subordinate managers and crew members alike. This ensures that the team is well-prepared to deliver excellent customer service and meet productivity goals.
In addition to leadership duties, the manager is responsible for conducting profit and loss (P&L) analyses and implementing corrective measures when necessary to maximize financial performance. The role demands thorough knowledge of company operating systems and procedures, supervisory practices, planning, budgeting, interviewing, and training development. Moreover, the manager must be conversant with employment laws at all levels to ensure legal and regulatory compliance within the workplace.
WKS Restaurant Group offers this opportunity in a franchise setting, meaning that while the standards are consistent, compensation, benefits, and career programs may vary depending on the individual franchisee. Prospective candidates should expect to engage in continuing education including mandatory GM Core classes, Crew Interviewing Workshops, and certification such as Serve-Safe. This job provides a chance to develop managerial skills within a respected and growing franchise network and advance in a hospitality career by taking on significant operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
