Job Description
Mo' Bettahs is a beloved restaurant brand deeply rooted in Hawaiian culture and values. Known for its commitment to responsible and personable service, Mo' Bettahs blends traditional Hawaiian hospitality with a modern, competitive edge. The company embraces core values such as Kuleana (Responsibility), Ho'okipa (Hospitality and Aloha), Ho'okuku (Competitiveness), Mo'omeheu (Culture), Miki'oi (Fine Craftsmanship), and Pono (Righteousness). These principles guide their team, fostering a work environment where hunger for success, kindness, energy, humility, and selflessness thrive. Mo' Bettahs prides itself on celebrating the unique Hawaiian spirit through its food, people, and service, delivering an exceptional dining experience infused with aloha.
The role available is for a leadership position at Mo' Bettahs where the selected candidate will serve as a key player in executing the brand's daily operations. This is a full-time, in person role with a competitive base salary ranging from $55,000 to $70,000 per year, plus potential bonuses that reward performance based on meeting store metrics and customer satisfaction goals. The position involves hands-on management of both front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) teams, ensuring the highest standards in food quality, customer service, cleanliness, and operational efficiency are maintained at all times. This leadership role requires someone who not only understands business and food management but also embodies the Mo' Bettahs values of aloha, accountability, and excellence.
Key responsibilities include leading the daily execution of the brand's standards, managing a team of up to 40 employees, and holding accountability for Same Store Sales growth and line speed metrics. The leader will also act as the primary point of contact for customer service issues and overall customer satisfaction. Weekly meeting coordination, employee scheduling, and completion of various reports related to staffing, inventory, and ordering are essential components of the role. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to identifying and developing talent, making difficult personnel decisions when necessary and fostering a collaborative, motivated workplace culture.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must demonstrate a growth mindset, be partnership-oriented, and a natural leader who inspires and motivates their team. Additionally, the role demands adherence to health and safety standards as well as company policies outlined in the employee handbook. Candidates need to be willing to pursue relevant trainings and certifications to continuously improve their skills.
Mo' Bettahs offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, dental, and life insurance, along with paid time off, employee discounts, and other perks such as free team member meals while working. The company strives to create an inclusive workplace and is an equal opportunity employer, committed to preventing any form of workplace discrimination or harassment. This leadership role is perfect for a dedicated professional passionate about Hawaiian culture, hospitality, and excellence in restaurant management.
