Their clubs feature state-of-the-art equipment, comprehensive fitness classes, spa services, healthy cafés, and wellness coaching. Life Time is also dedicated to inclusion and diversity, creating an equitable workplace that celebrates the unique contributions of every team member while promoting growth based on merit and qualifications.
The General Manager in Training (GMIT) position at Life Time is a critical leadership role designed to prepare ambitious professionals for a future as a full General Manager. This role involves an immersive training experience that blends formal education through Life Time’s General Manager Certification program with hands-on leadership development under the guidance of the club’s current General Manager and Area Director. As a club ambassador, the GMIT ensures that every member experiences an unforgettable visit, reinforcing the club’s positive reputation and encouraging continued loyalty.
Training in this role covers various key aspects such as financial management, team leadership, sales strategies, club safety and cleanliness standards, and member satisfaction measurement.
