The General Manager role at Aqua-Tots Swim School in Falls Church, VA, is a full-time position offering up to $67,000 in salary plus annual bonus opportunities. The position requires flexible availability, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends, to meet the dynamic needs of the swim school and its seasonal fluctuations. This leadership role carries significant responsibility, overseeing team development, customer experience, sales growth, and daily operations at the swim school. The General Manager is the driving force behind creating an exceptional family experience, ensuring that every interaction with the school is positive, smooth, and supportive. They lead by example, recruiting, coaching, and inspiring staff to deliver consistent, high-quality lessons that are both fun and safe.

Additionally, the General Manager is charged with maintaining the facility standards, ensuring the pool, lobby, and other areas meet the brand’s expectations for cleanliness and safety. They manage the operational side of the business, including staffing, scheduling, payroll, and budget oversight, ensuring the school operates efficiently and effectively. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of management experience preferred in operations, hospitality, education, or retail
  • Strong customer service and people leadership skills
  • CPR certified
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license or willingness to obtain
  • Flexible availability including afternoons, evenings, and weekends

Job Qualifications
