The role of Restaurant General Manager at Capriotti's is a pivotal leadership position responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of restaurant operations. Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures ranging from 0°F to 100°F
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending reaching and movement throughout the restaurant

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant management or leadership experience preferred
  • Experience in fast-casual quick-service or hospitality environments is a plus
  • Strong leadership coaching and team-building skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of scheduling labor management inventory and restaurant operations
  • Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer programs
  • Must be at least 18 years old

Job Duties

  • Recruit hire train and develop restaurant team members
  • Lead coach and motivate employees to deliver exceptional performance
  • Foster a positive respectful and team-oriented work environment
  • Create employee schedules and manage staffing levels effectively
  • Support ongoing training and career development initiatives
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations including food preparation service cleanliness and safety
  • Ensure compliance with company policies food safety standards and health regulations
  • Maintain high standards for food quality presentation and guest satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory levels assist with ordering and cost controls
  • Manage cash handling deposits and daily reporting procedures

  • Lead by example in creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere
  • Promote a culture focused on guest satisfaction and repeat business
  • Monitor labor food and operational costs
