We are currently seeking an experienced Hotel Manager to take charge of one of our properties and manage it with a true sense of pride and ownership. The Hotel Manager will be a pivotal figure in the organization, responsible for all facets of hotel management from frontline guest interactions to backend strategic planning and reporting. This includes supervising staff across departments such as front desk, housekeeping, kitchen, and maintenance, as well as managing budgets, expenses, and financial reports. The role demands someone who is as comfortable dealing with guest complaints and solutions as they are in collaborating with external vendors, suppliers, travel agencies, and event planners.

Success in this role requires outstanding leadership skills and the ability to build and guide a cohesive, well-functioning team. The ideal candidate will set clear objectives, foster teamwork, and lead by example to cultivate a cooperative and high-performing working environment. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) is advantageous.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience as hotel manager or relevant role
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to work in a drug-free workplace
  • Must pass background screen
  • Understanding of hotel management best practices and relevant laws
  • Working knowledge of MS Office

Job Duties

  • Supervise work at all levels including front desk, kitchen staff, housekeeping, maintenance and set clear objectives
  • Plan activities and allocate responsibilities to achieve the most efficient operating model
  • Manage budgets and expenses, analyze and interpret financial information and monitor sales and profits
  • Develop and implement an intuitive and efficient marketing strategy to promote the hotel services
  • Communicate with customers when appropriate including welcoming them, addressing complaints, finding solutions, offering information
  • Deal with maintenance issues, shortages in staff or equipment, renovations
  • Collaborate with external parties such as suppliers, travel agencies, event and conference planners
  • Inspect facilities regularly and enforce strict compliance with health and safety standards
