This job posting is for a General Manager position at a McDonaldEs restaurant owned and operated by an independent franchisee. It is important to note that this role is not directly affiliated with McDonaldEs Corporation or McDonaldEs USA, LLC, meaning that the franchisee is solely responsible for all employment decisions, including hiring, firing, supervision, staffing, and scheduling. If hired, the General ManagerEs employer will be the independent franchisee, not McDonaldEs Corporation.

The General Manager plays a crucial leadership role in running a profitable McDonaldEs restaurant, driving the business to meet high standards for quality, service, and cleanliness which the brand is globally known for. This role carries significant responsibility as the General Manager not only oversees the entire restaurant operation but also ensures adherence to customer standards that help maintain McDonaldEs reputation. The position requires a strategic mindset and a hands-on leadership approach to meet restaurant goals and foster a positive working environment.

Leading a team of Department Managers, the General Manager collaborates with their leader to set clear goals and develop actionable plans to meet or exceed these expectations. They take an active role in coaching and guiding Department Managers, helping each department within the restaurant improve performance. The General Manager is also often responsible for recruiting and developing Shift Managers and Department Managers, ensuring that the restaurant continues to have capable leadership for future growth.
