The General Manager position at Papa John's is an essential leadership role responsible for the successful operation of the restaurant. Job Requirements

  • minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in restaurant or retail management preferred

  • basic computer proficiency
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations

Job Duties

  • assume responsibility for all functions of the restaurant to ensure high quality products and customer service
  • manage operations including execution of company policies, procedures, programs and systems
  • comply with all federal, state and local laws and ethical business practices
  • build a system of quality with team members to meet product standards and reflect customer orders
  • promptly respond to customer concerns and solicit feedback to improve operations
  • recruit, orient and train customer-focused team members to exceed expectations
  • manage profit goals by controlling food, labor and other costs within budget
  • maintain the restaurant cleanliness and ensure equipment is fully equipped and maintained
