We are currently seeking a dynamic, visionary General Manager to lead our team at the Courtyard Tyler. This role is critical in managing all hotel operations to maximize profits and achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction. The General Manager will oversee commercial performance, uphold brand hospitality standards, and drive business growth. This leadership position requires a strong focus on operational excellence, financial performance, guest experience, and employee development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading, inspiring, and mentoring a diverse team while cultivating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Key responsibilities include setting clear expectations, guiding the team to achieve exceptional performance, and ensuring seamless hotel operations across all departments including front office, housekeeping, and maintenance.

In addition, the General Manager will develop and execute financial strategies to maximize revenue and optimize expenses, maintaining budgetary goals. This role demands continuous monitoring of financial performance through regular analysis and the implementation of corrective actions when necessary. The General Manager will also ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by overseeing the implementation of service standards, delivering personalized guest experiences, and quickly resolving any issues. This position encourages continuous improvement and seeks opportunities to enhance guest interactions to exceed expectations.

Employee development is another critical focus, as the General Manager fosters a culture of continuous learning and professional growth, empowering team members to excel and advance within the organization. The position offers a clear growth path with opportunities to advance to Area General Manager, Regional Director of Operations, and eventually Vice President of Operations. Job Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in business, hospitality or a related field
  • Previous hotel management experience
  • Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
  • Strong financial and budget management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Capability to oversee multiple hotel departments
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, and crouch
