We are currently seeking a highly qualified General Manager to join our team and lead hotel operations with a focus on delivering outstanding guest service and ensuring financial profitability. The General Manager will be accountable for managing daily operations across various departments including rooms, housekeeping, food and beverage, and engineering. This role involves leadership in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and driving service initiatives while overseeing the balanced scorecard performance of the hotel. The General Manager acts as the principal liaison with hotel owners and corporate entities, ensuring communication and alignment with broader organizational goals. This exciting leadership position requires a hands-on approach to motivate and support employees, maintain excellent service standards, and uphold brand compliance. The ideal candidate will be proactive, customer- and employee-centric, and skilled at managing operational efficiency and guest satisfaction. Job Requirements

  • Must be responsible, reliable, ethical, employee centric, customer centric and radiate a positive and accommodating attitude
  • excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • well organized and detail-oriented
  • able to identify operational performance, productivity, and efficiency gaps and implement corrective measures
  • ability to multi-task
  • effective leadership and motivational skills
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • previous sales experience preferred
  • must have valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle to meet with clients

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as hotel manager or relevant role with emphasis on sales
  • must have 3-5 years’ prior experience as a general manager
  • college education preferred
  • understanding of all hotel management best practices and relevant laws and guidelines
  • demonstrable aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
  • reliable with ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • outstanding leadership skills and great attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Manage all sources of revenue including rooms, housekeeping, food and beverage, engineering, and other departments
  • assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing programs and quarterly sales strategy reports
  • actively participate in sales discussions, meetings, plans, and sales calls
  • involve in community and/or government affairs
  • create the hotel’s annual budget and monitor performance throughout the year
  • manage the hotel through a hands-on approach, motivating employees, ensuring employee development and retention, and conducting regular employee meetings
  • ensure outstanding guest service and adherence to all brand standards
