Job Requirements
- 3+ years experience in retail or hospitality leadership including managing direct reports
- Willingness to give and receive feedback
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable using technology and operating multiple systems
- Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs at times

- 3+ years experience in retail or hospitality leadership including managing direct reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience motivating and mentoring teams to achieve results
- Comfortable and nimble with operating technology and learning multiple systems
- Willing to give and receive feedback to and from field team and HQ on improving store environment and customer service
- A can-do attitude and the willingness to own every challenge and roll up your sleeves as needed
- Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Coach and mentor a team of Players Cafe Sales Associates to always put the guest first and ensure an exceptional visitor experience is delivered 100% of the time
- Become an expert on the full Players Cafe catalog and provide product advice and recommendations to suit the customer’s unique needs
- Perform store opening and closing duties including unlocking the store, setting up the store environment, light cleaning tasks throughout the day, updating closing reports and following closing procedures including securing the store after business hours
- Lead, uphold and embrace the brand’s mission and core values
- Use KPIs and reporting to create business solutions and exceed sales targets
- Conduct performance evaluations and take corrective action with employees when warranted
- Oversee hiring and training of an engaged workforce
- Maintain operational excellence by implementing key policies, procedures, training and initiatives with your team
- Manage scheduling and payroll to effectively meet the needs of the business and company expectations
- Share valuable customer insight from front-lines with product and marketing teams
- Assist the HQ team to create programs, events and initiatives to improve customer experiences
- Quickly implement solutions to any problems or issues that arise
- Operate lotto machines and ensure equipment remains in good working order, reporting any maintenance needs to Operations Manager and HQ team
- Oversee inventory management and back-of-house operations ensuring accuracy and organization
- Educate visitors on the brand history and value proposition
- Engage with loyal customers, form new customer relationships for the brand and seek opportunities to surprise and delight customers
