Job Description

Wendy's is a globally recognized fast-food restaurant chain known for its fresh, never frozen beef and commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Founded in 1969, Wendy's has grown to become one of the largest and most beloved quick-service restaurant brands worldwide. With a strong focus on delivering hearty, high-quality meals in a welcoming environment, Wendy's prides itself on offering a differentiated guest experience by consistently putting the customer first and striving for excellence in every aspect of its operations. The company encourages innovation, teamwork, and leadership at every level to ensure that both customers and employees thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced setting.

This opportunity focuses on the role of a General Manager at one of Wendy's franchise locations, specifically at 1535 NE 181ST AVE, Portland, OR 97230. As a General Manager, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for driving the restaurant's success by leading a dedicated team committed to delivering a "Cut Above" guest experience every day. You will foster a culture of employee engagement and empowerment, ensuring team members are motivated, supported, and aligned with the company’s mission to "Delight Every Customer." This role demands strong leadership skills and business acumen since you will oversee operations in a million-dollar plus business setting. You will manage all facets of restaurant functions, including customer service, food quality, team training, and financial performance, ensuring all business goals and standards are met or exceeded.

Wendy's is dedicated to supporting General Managers in their professional growth through personalized training and providing tools necessary for success. You’ll receive comprehensive benefits such as medical, short-term disability (STD), long-term disability (LTD), life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, paid time off, and the potential for quarterly bonuses, highlighting the company’s commitment not only to its customers but also to its employees.

An additional benefit at Wendy's is the availability of On Demand Pay, allowing managers to access earned wages quickly — embodying the company's philosophy of flexibility and respect for employee needs. The compensation for this role ranges from $72,000 to $92,000 annually, reflecting the importance of the position within the organization and the level of responsibility entailed.

Working at Wendy's means joining a passionate team dedicated to delivering exceptional service and meals in a vibrant, fast-paced environment. The company’s focus on inclusivity and equal opportunity ensures a diverse workplace, embracing all races, religions, nationalities, genders, and members of the LGBTQ+ community. Furthermore, Wendy's supports reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities, demonstrating its commitment to accessible and equitable employment.

In summary, the General Manager role at Wendy's is not just a management position; it’s a leadership opportunity to make a significant impact on the guest experience and business performance.
