The role of the General Manager at Club Pilates is pivotal to the overall success and smooth operation of the studio. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the General Manager oversees all aspects of studio functionality, including sales strategy, instructor management, customer engagement, and operational oversight. This full-time on-site position requires a commitment of 35 or more hours weekly, including weekdays and two Saturdays per month. The General Manager is responsible for implementing effective lead generation tactics such as grassroots marketing and networking to drive studio memberships and revenue. They directly manage scheduling, supervise sales representatives, handle vendor relationships to maintain appropriate retail inventory, and ensure the studio environment is clean and welcoming. Job Duties
- Lead generation including grass roots marketing and networking
- Implement sales process to schedule prospects into demo class
- Membership sales
- Manage staff schedule
- Directly coordinate with all vendors ensuring that studio retail products are stocked with accurate inventory counts
- Supervise sales representatives
- Hire and manage all instructors at the studio
- Proficiency in ClubReady to include revenue reports attendance reports etc
- Review instructor evaluations performed by master trainers
- Independently make decisions related to high level customer service
- Collect outstanding dues
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Pilates studio
- Enforce Club Pilates policies and procedures
- Ensure all forms administrative supplies and studio literature is stocked and visible
- Schedule and participate in networking community events and studio promotions
- Strategically manage marketing campaigns to generate leads for the studio
