The role of General Manager at Caribou Coffee is a critical leadership position responsible for the financial performance and overall success of the store. Job Requirements
- A minimum of 1-2 years of restaurant retail or guest service management experience and or combined experience and education
- must be 18 years of age or older
- have reliable transportation
- ability to work full-time 47 hours per week including early mornings evenings weekends and holidays
- willingness to learn new systems and tools
- ServSafe certification or ability to obtain within 90 days preferred
- experience with sales building profit and loss statements recruitment and training preferred
- knowledge of store systems such as Toast CrunchTime GoSpotCheck EcoSure TeamworX Medallia Workday Beekeeper preferred
- valid driver’s license preferred
- high school diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Job Duties
- Ensure the store is fully staffed for upcoming shifts including schedule management and bench planning
- build and maintain a high-performing team through goal setting accountability and consistent training
- execute role-based training programs onboarding and promotional training
- provide ongoing coaching feedback and recognition to team members
- model and uphold company policies ensuring a safe environment for team and guests
- use assigned Caribou systems and tools appropriately and timely
- lead by example to inspire team members to deliver excellent guest experiences
- facilitate timely resolution of employee customer relations and supply chain issues
- drive initiatives to improve guest satisfaction speed of service and loyalty
- take ownership and lead store performance to drive sales profitability and operational excellence
- manage supply chain processes inventory and asset allocation
- utilize financial planning to manage budgets and analyze financial statements
- manage operating statement adjusting strategies for sales growth and expense management
- create enthusiasm and focus on achieving sales goals
- support operational excellence through sales initiatives
