In this leadership role, General Managers are entrusted with comprehensive responsibilities. They serve as the operational backbone of their restaurant, ensuring top-notch hospitality and guest experiences. This includes hiring and developing exceptional team members, cultivating a winning culture, overseeing the full employee lifecycle, and guaranteeing that operational standards such as speed of service, food safety, and cleanliness are always met to Chipotle’s high standards. The role demands a blend of people leadership and business acumen, including managing schedules, financial controls like P&L management, sales forecasting, and executing marketing initiatives tailored to local communities.

You will also be instrumental in training and mentoring crew members, shift leaders, and apprentices, utilizing Chipotle’s extensive training resources. General Managers ensure the success of digital order fulfillment while maintaining an inviting restaurant environment. They are accountable for the restaurant’s overall financial performance, working diligently to meet annual sales and cash flow goals. This includes working across a varied schedule that spans lunch, dinner, and weekends to provide leadership coverage during all hours of operation.

This role offers a competitive salary range between $55,000 and $77,500 annually, supplemented with quarterly performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.
